Magna Radio is built locally and powered by real Lincolnshire voices. We're here to bring you great music, community stories, and a fresh new sound for our county.

Magna launched on DAB+ across Lincolnshire on 8 February 2026, founded by a local Lincolnshire business owner with a clear aim: bring great music, local voices and proper community radio back to the county. We celebrate Lincolnshire's people and businesses, amplify local voices, and strengthen community pride through the stories that make the county unique.

In September 2025, we brought on Lincolnshire Marketing to plan the marketing campaign and build the websites for both stations. The site you're reading is a refreshed iteration of the original launch version, same voice, same county focus, better foundations.

We broadcast two stations under one roof. Magna Radio carries the county's flagship daytime line-up, Mark Dennison at Breakfast, John Marshall in the morning, Chris Marsden through the afternoon, Gemma Hill into the evening, alongside weekend specialists and the regular Sunday-night quiz. Magna Mix runs alongside as a 60s/70s/80s sister station for listeners who want the soundtrack of a generation.

Magna's daytime playlist is built around familiar, upbeat music from the 90s and now. Recognisable, easy to listen to, and well suited to daily routines. Outside of core hours we run appointment-to-listen shows: themed music hours, specialist features and presenter-led content. We also support local talent by introducing new Lincolnshire artists where appropriate.

Lincolnshire matters to us. We cover Lincolnshire news first, support Lincolnshire charities, run competitions with Lincolnshire prizes, and feature Lincolnshire businesses through our directory. Magna reaches up to 700,000 potential listeners across the county on DAB+ and digital platforms.
