The Military vs Cancer Summer Ball will take place on Friday 17 July 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln, as part of the city's popular 1940s Weekend celebrations. Guests are invited to enjoy an unforgettable evening of vintage glamour, live entertainment and fundraising in support of Military vs Cancer, a charity providing practical, emotional and financial support to serving military personnel, veterans and their families affected by cancer.
The event begins at 6:00pm and will be hosted by military magician and Britain's Got Talent winner Richard Jones. Entertainment will also include live music from Miss Jean and the Ragtime Rewind Band, bringing the sounds and spirit of the 1940s to the ballroom. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal with wine, with a dress code of Formal / 1940s Glamour. Tickets are priced at £75 per person, with all proceeds supporting the charity's vital work.
Whether you're looking for a unique night out, a chance to support an important cause, or an opportunity to embrace the nostalgia of the 1940s, this special charity ball promises an evening of entertainment, elegance and community spirit.
