We played Found It today, and I have to say, it was a good one. The question was simple enough: add up the answers. How many hearts does an octopus have? Three. How many legs does a lobster have? Ten. How many teeth does an adult dog typically have? Forty-two. Total? Fifty-five.
The challenge was to get as close to that total as possible, and here in the studio we had a bit of friendly competition going on. Magna's own Lucy and Olivia had a go, and Lucy came closest with 56, Olivia just behind her on 57. Not bad at all, ladies.
But the real winner was Chris from Grimsby, who called in with an absolutely spot-on guess of 55. Perfect score. Well done Chris, that was brilliant.
Then we moved on to Topical Tune, where I play a story and you decide which song sums it up best. Today's story involved Stanley, a six-banded armadillo from East Sussex, who managed to force open a door and make a break for it from Animal Magic, a company that does animal handling for schools and kids' birthday parties. Quite the escape artist.
The options went from Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway at number five, all the way down to The Corrs with Runaway taking the top spot. Honestly, hard to argue with that one.
