Their Journey

How did you first get into radio?: I loved radio as a kid and went knocking on the door of every station I could find trying to get a job or find out how to get into radio, then helping out a friend on Student Radio for a few weeks as a co-host made it become an unhealthy obsession!

What do you enjoy most about interacting with listeners?: The feeling of being part of a much larger community.
A message or moment from a listener that's stuck with you?: "I like listening to you."

Music and Influences

Earliest memory of listening to radio?: Listening to 'Let Loose, Crazy For You' on 90s mega radio station Atlantic 252.
Biggest broadcasting influences?: Mark & Lard, Chris Moyles and just anyone with something funny to say.
One song you'll never get bored of?: Avicii, Broken Arrows.
What kind of music do you love off air?: Anything by Avicii, though I do have quite an eclectic music taste, so it could be motown one day, rock the next or some good old cheesy pop.
A track that always gets a reaction on your show?: Starship, We Built This City.

What does being part of Magna Radio mean to you?: The chance to make a real difference to local listeners.
What excites you most about what we're building here?: I think someone mentioned Free Cake Friday?

Looking Ahead

What would you love to achieve on air?: A competent show.
Where do you want to take your show next?: A slap-up meal on the Brayford in Lincoln with flowers and possibly dancing and romancing afterwards.

Tea or coffee?: Neither, oddly I'm not much of a hot drink consumer.
