What a brilliant couple of games we had on the show today.
We kicked off Celebrity Age Week with Found It, and the challenge was guessing the combined ages of three celebrities all sharing the same birthday, 17 August. Robert De Niro, the legendary actor behind Taxi Driver and Raging Bull, is 81. Sean Penn, known for Mystic River and Milk, is 64. And former Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry is 47. The combined total came to 192.
Now, I have to give a shout out to our Magna colleagues Lucy and Millie, who confidently claimed they hadn't heard of any of today's three. They came in with a combined guess of 181 years, bless them. But the real star of the day was Sarah at Creative Products in Grantham, who was absolutely spot on with the correct total of 198. Well done Sarah, brilliant stuff.
Then we moved on to Topical Tune, where I asked you to suggest the song that best sums up the story of Jinny Lu winning the World's Ugliest Dog contest. A lovely competition, actually, because it shines a light on rescue dogs and why they deserve a loving home. Your suggestions were brilliant. Grant in Newark went with James Blunt's You're Beautiful at number five, and Amy in Grantham took the top spot with the Sugababes and Ugly. Couldn't argue with that one really.
