What a Tuesday it's been. The Household Headline took us over to Gainsborough today, and it was one of those stories that just made the whole studio laugh. A local woman called Debs decided that with the sun blazing the way it has been, taking her dog out for his usual walk would basically be slow-cooking him on the pavement. Fair enough. So instead she spent the day trying to keep him entertained indoors, working through every toy, treat and game she could think of. The dog's response? Apparently just staring at her like she'd completely lost the plot and he'd very much like his walkies back, thank you. Last we heard, negotiations over what to put on the telly had broken down after he held out for Paw Patrol. You couldn't make it up.
The Finishing Off Game threw up a cracking one today as well. Forty percent of people say they always go to the same hairdresser without fail, and we got talking about why switching feels so much like cheating on them. The calls and messages on that were brilliant, so thank you to everyone who got involved.
After nine we had a full hour of nothing but the 90s, digging into some of the decade's stranger moments. Great stuff.
