Found It is in full Harrods mode this week, and honestly, it's one of my favourite versions of the game we've done in a while. The challenge is simple enough, guessing the price tags on items from the Harrods Christmas Department, but the answers always catch people out.
Today's three items were a Great Exhibition Cake Stand, currently on sale at £100 reduced from £200, a Fitted Champagne Hamper at £320, and a Langdale Scented Candle, 210g, at £48. That puts the total at £468, which is a fair bit more than most people expected.
We had Lucy and Lauren from the Magna team giving it a go today, and Lauren came closest with £250. Good effort Lauren, but the real star was Wendy Woo in Lincoln, who guessed £438. That is seriously close, well done Wendy.
Then we moved on to Topical Tune, where I shared a story about twenty farms across the US and Canada carving corn mazes in the shape of Dolly Parton, raising money for her Imagination Library, which gives free books to children. A lovely cause.
Your song suggestions were brilliant. Joe in Lincoln took the top spot with Never Forget You by the Noisettes, beating out entries from Welton, Grimsby, Gainsborough, and Newark. Some cracking choices in there, and one or two that made me laugh out loud.
